I’VE RECREATED FRNK’s DARK COCOA MILK AND IT’S SO GOOD!

I am a slave over low calorie drinks and FRNK Milk Bar just dropped their dark cocoa milk recipe last April. Since we can’t go to malls and grab a cup of their delectable goodies, I’ve decided to recreate my version of their Dark Cocoa Milk.

While the ingredients aren’t necessarily the same as what FRNK uses and it is most certainly not gluten free, it’s still good and fail-proof.

For one serving, the recipe requires:

  • 300 ml of your milk of choice
  • 100 ml of water 4 tbsps of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 to 6 pieces of ice cubes
  • 2 tbsps of sugar

Mix it all together with a spatula, bring it to a simmer until the cocoa drip sauce thickens. When the mixture thickens, let it cool and brush the sides of the glass enough to cover the rim.

You could top the drink off with crushed oreos (very much preferred) and chia seeds if you want the same experience.

The Verdict:

I LOVE IT! If you wanted to try something new (dahil nakakasawa na rin ang dalgona coffee), this is definitely it. I’ve used almond milk since the cocoa drip sauce is very sweet and almond milk isn’t that sweet so it just balances out the flavor making it taste amazing and every sip with that oreo and chia just makes everything

Have you tried this at home? Let me know what you think!
